Before creating a grid it is imperative to cleanse your crystal to mark a new beginning. 

Ways to cleanse your crystals: 

Water: Give your crystals a little baptism. If you're near the ocean take them to the beach and cleanse them in the sea. In turn, if you want to cleanse them in your home, draw a bath, stir in intentions of releasing the past (spin counterclockwise). Here you can add flowers to gift your crystals a luxurious experience. 

Please note: do not cleanse any crystals that end in -ite in the water. A rule of thumb: any mineral with a below 6 on the Mohs hardness scale should not be cleansed in water. (This includes but is not excluded to: selenite, malachite, azurite, fluorite, prehnite, etc.)

Smudge: Utilize Sage or Copal as cleansing and purification herbs to cleanse old energy from the crystal. Visualize the smoke blowing all of the old energy away. 

Selenite: Selenite is sage in crystal form. With intention, wave the selenite around the crystal and see the selenite purify the crystal. (Next full moon place this selenite under the full moon to cleanse and recharge.) 

Find a place in the sunlight to amplify this grid and your intentions on the solstice.

For collective Grid: you'll want to place your crystals into the Earth. Find a grassy area with full sun exposure for your grid. 

For individual Grid: Find a space with access to the Sun. This space should be private and just for you. 

Use smoke to cleanse the space and to cleanse it for your ritual and grid. 

If inside or using an "non-organic" surface for your grid, incorporate a cloth. Be sure to cleanse. 

Once the space is laid out: begin to open the space. Call in the directions if it's in your practice or invoke the most high in your own way. 

When we use the voice, we command and further co-create the space. 

Invocation ideas:

• "I open this space and allow the highest frequencies of the source to amplify and encode these crystals and prayers. 

Clearly synthesize your intention, what do you want the crystals and sun to amplify? 

For your collective altar: write a prayer for humanity on a piece of paper. What is one word that sums up your prayer, one frequency to which the ritual can be centered around?  

For your personal altar: write down that which you are calling into your reality. What are you manifesting? Feel free to touch on multiple aspects of your life for example: Career, Self Love, Partnership, Friendship, Home, Health, Prosperity, and creativity.

Gather your crystals! Be sure to activate the spirit in each crystal. Meditate tune into each crystal's unique vibration. 

Pick your central crystal: ideally, this would be your largest most powerful piece. 

(For the collective grid, stick this crystal straight into the Earth be present with this process, and speak the frequency you would like to anchor into the Earth as you place your crystal into the Earth.) 

Pick Amplifier Crystals: smaller crystals to place in symmetry around your center crystal. Include crystals that amplify, harmonize and represent the vibrations of your prayer. (If you don't know what crystals you have or what they represent, no worries, use your intuition!) You will want to place the piece of paper with your prayers and manifestations underneath this crystal. 

Please Note: 

✧ The more symmetrical the grid the more powerful. It is better to use less crystals and keep it symmetrical. Again, follow your intuition. 

✧  It is rare but if stones rich in color MAY fade slightly being in the sun for a day. However, their energy will be amplified. Some crystals I want to keep them rich in color so I do not include them, follow your intuition and desire with this one.) 

Once your grid is set. Feel into the energy, visualize the grid creating a toroidal field of connection, to all of Earth and all of the Cosmos. Breathe with the grid activating it further, feel free to infuse song & light language. 

Throughout your day tune into the energy of the grid wherever you are, feel the energy rise and rise! 

These grids are geared to amplify our prayers and manifestation. Once the grid is set up feel free to keep it up as long as you please. 

For grids created on the solstice, I suggest taking the grid down after sunset. Keep the energy fully sealed from the Solstice. 

Once you're ready to close your potent crystal portal, thank all of the seen and unseen forces for co-creating in this sacred prayer and ritual with you. 

Take a moment and feel how the energy has shifted. Drop into the body & connect to the cosmos, feel how much more light has been anchored into your reality.
